About Liz.
Friendly, experienced and here to help you enjoy moving well.
Helping people feel stronger, more confident and at ease.
I’ve been practising Pilates for more than ten years and teaching it for much of that time. What began as something I enjoyed for its many physical and wellbeing benefits became something I wanted to share with other people.
The part I love most is seeing people become stronger, more confident and more comfortable in their movement. Everyone arrives with different experience, abilities and needs, so I adapt each class to the people in the room. I’ll always take the time to explain an exercise, offer an alternative or give a little individual help when it’s needed.
My classes are friendly and relaxed. Pilates matters, but I don’t believe that means everything has to feel terribly serious—there’s usually plenty of conversation and laughter too. Whether you’re completely new or have been practising for years, you’ll be made welcome and encouraged to work at a level that feels right for you.
Away from Pilates, I teach three- and four-year-olds, which perhaps explains some of the patience! I’m also mum to two wonderful sons, and when I get a quiet evening, I’m usually happiest settling down with a good drama or film.
“Everyone is different. I want you to feel welcome, enjoy the class and leave feeling better than when you arrived.”
